Peer Networks & Development Lab

Dr. Kornienko is currently accepting graduate students to join the lab for 2019-20 academic year.

Inquiries from prospective undergraduate research assistants interested in joining the research team are welcome! Our research assistants are involved in all aspects of research—including data collection, study design, and participant recruitment. Through these experiences, the lab members develop their professional and research skills in designing and conducting studies of social dynamics and development in the naturalistic settings of schools and organizations. They work closely with Dr. Kornienko to receive hands-on training in self- and peer-report surveys, assessing salivary hormones (e.g., testosterone, cortisol), conducting scientific literature searches, basic and advanced data analytic techniques, and possibly preparing conference presentations and manuscripts.
